As this is the first time the PGE Group is disclosing data under the ESRS, the approach to preparing and presenting sustainability-related information has changed compared to the previous reporting period. This Statement does not include comparative data. Furthermore, the reporting standards applied in earlier periods (such as the Global Reporting Initiative) do not allow for a full or meaningful comparison of the information now being disclosed. As a result, it is also not possible to verify any potential errors in previous disclosures.
In preparing the quantitative data for this Statement, some figures are based on estimates. In addition, indirect sources within value chain indicators were used for calculating the carbon footprint, which may introduce a certain level of measurement uncertainty. In such cases, this is clearly noted alongside the relevant indicators. Detailed information on these sources and their accuracy is provided in Section E1.
The PGE Group has made use of the option to omit information on the anticipated financial effects of environmental risks and opportunities in all environmental disclosures during the first year of preparing the Statement.
