2 Employment takes into account the spin-off of a new Gas Power segment in 2024, comprising the companies PGE Gryfino Dolna Odra sp. z o.o. and PGE Nowy Rybnik sp. z o.o. previously located in the Other Operations segment. With regard to these companies, the data for 2023 have been adjusted for comparability
The decrease in the number of employees in the PGE CG as at December 31, 2024 compared to December 31, 2023 was due to ongoing staff turnover, acquisition of pension rights (including participation in the Retirement Departure Program, primarily within the Conventional Generation segment).
In addition, 2024 saw the intragroup migration of Elbest Security sp. z o.o. and Energoserwis-Kleszczów sp. z o.o. which in 2023 were included in the Conventional Generation segment. In 2024, Elbest Security sp. z o.o. is presented in the Other Operations segment, while Energoserwis-Kleszczów sp. z o.o. in the Supply segment.
Changes in employment levels in the Supply segment were primarily due to the hiring of new employees to replace those leaving (mainly staff employed through the Temporary Employment Agency in PGE Obrót S.A.). Additionally, there has been an increase in employment due to the filling of vacancies.
The increase in employment in the Renewables segment was related to the development of projects in the area of Offshore Wind and the takeover of the operation of wind and photovoltaic farms by PGE CG companies’ own maintenance service teams.
