[S1-17] Incidents, complaints and severe human rights impacts

In 2024, the PGE Group received 19 complaints regarding inappropriate behaviour submitted through available reporting channels.

Five of these included elements of potential discrimination. After conducting internal investigations, the companies determined that two of the complaints were justified but related to ethical issues other than discrimination. As of the date of this report, three cases remain under assessment. In 2024, 34 whistleblower and non-compliance reports were submitted.

One lawsuit was filed against a Group company in 2024, seeking compensation for alleged violation of the principle of equal treatment; however, it was dismissed due to incorrect identification of the claimant. No confirmed cases of discrimination, including harassment, were recorded. No harassment-related incidents involving internal or external stakeholders were reported during the reporting period.

Although investigative committees/persons examining the circumstances generally did not confirm that the reported behaviour constituted mobbing, discrimination or similar violations, they typically issued recommendations to the employers aimed at minimising the risk of undesirable conduct in the future.

Actions taken based on these recommendations included, among others:

communication on proper process implementation (e.g. applying for business travel);
awareness campaigns on appropriate social conduct and desired/undesired behaviour in the workplace;
training sessions;
implementation of individual managerial coaching;
meetings between employers/managers and employees.

No confirmed serious incidents involving human rights violations were reported in 2024. Consequently, no fines, penalties or compensations were imposed.
