As of the date of this Statement, the PGE CG has not established ESRS targets concerning the management of significant negative impacts, enhancement of positive impacts, or the handling of material risks and opportunities in relation to consumers and end-users.
In the area of personal safety of consumers and end-users in the PGE CG, no measurable, result-oriented targets have been set to date, in view of the fact that the energy services offered by the PGE CG are universal in nature and, provided they are used appropriately, are not harmful to people. Also with regard to its high-emission operations, no ESRS targets have been set. However, the PGE CG manages significant negative impacts by investing in new low- or zero-emission generation sources, as outlined in detail in section E1-3. The PGE Group does not conduct marketing activities (in the sense of sales promotion campaigns) directly addressed to children or people in difficult life situations. Therefore, no specific goals have been set in this area.
However, within the PGE Group, there are mechanisms (in the form of KPI goals) that allow monitoring the implementation of applicable policies. Some operational goals are defined at the level of individual adopted policies (see: ESRS S4-1). The PGE Group has a reporting system that allows monitoring their effectiveness.
